Service Customer Adviser
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of Newmans Aftersales Department. Working with a close-knit and friendly team, as a Service Customer Advisor Your key responsibilities will involve dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first and long lasting impression of the Newmans and our Service Department.
Additional responsibilities are to include the following:
Making accurate notes of the customers’ requirements for vehicle service’s and repair, accurately communicating to the workshop team.
Keeping customers updated during the day with the progress of their vehicle.
Advising customers of any additional work identified, and presenting the associated cost accordingly.
Preparing and presenting the customer invoice and associated paperwork.
Giving a full explanation to the customer of the work undertaken.
Presenting service products such as service plans, extended warranties etc.
Main Dealer Service Experience is preferable, however, applications will be considered from all candidates who can demonstrate proven exceptional customer service experience.
The position offers a basic salary of £20,000 with an OTE potential of £30,000 + (uncapped.) Offering many long term benefits associated with an established brand and business. This is an opportunity not to be missed. The hours worked are 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm Saturday, (on a Rota).

We require a Parts Adviser with recent Main Dealer experience to work within our busy Parts department.
Duties will typically include:
- Advising customers on suitable parts for their vehicle.
- Processing parts orders from customers directly, both via telephone and face to face.
- Maintaining ordered stock.
- Raising invoices for parts sold.
- Liaison with other members of staff i.e. delivering parts to Technicians in the workshop.
You will need to be a confident relationship builder, able to influence and advise customers on vehicle parts issues, whilst delivering a first class service, achieving company objectives and targets.
You must be well presented, enthusiastic and be 100% committed to delivering the highest standards, whilst possessing excellent communication skills, be computer literate and able to fulfil administrative duties.
Offering a basic salary of £15,000.00 to £18,000.00 per annum with an on target earnings of £23,000.00 Your normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm working 1 in 2 Saturday's 8am - 12pm.
Motor trade experience is essential, ideally in parts.
